My personal Stance on AI in profesional work
To be clear for any potential clients: I do not work with generative AI, I do not use generative AI, and I do not grant permission to anyone to use my work with generative AI.
For anyone looking to use my work with AI: Please do not do that, the answer is 100% no in every circumstance. I sometimes use anti-AI countermeasures on my works, please don’t take my art for any AI related purposes.
Machine learning is an impressive tool with many use cases, generative AI is not.
My background with AI and Machine Learning
My stance here is based on many factors, I’ve had the pleasure of being involved in a few machine learning projects. I have a very deep respect for the functionality that this technology brings, and the expertise that computer scientist use it with.
At Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s Communications Research Center I was surrounded by Machine Learning Specialist solving real world problems with Machine Learning, it was extremely useful and valuable technology delivering new understanding to massive datasets .
At Alientrap Games we where infamously the very first GPT integration in a production video game, I designed the level for the Generative AI based murder mystery that my boss built. That level did not go public for several reasons, but footage of our level is fairly common in conversations about Generative AI driven NPCs.
